How do we Indians react or respond to national problems? Do we act in a way that everyone is benefited or do we react in a way that only our own interests are taken care of? I have often seen that except for national calamities like floods or earthquake (when we unite and rise as one Nation), we think of our own comfort and benefit only. Let me explain with an example: Whenever there is a shortage of LPG cylinders, we tend to hoard two or more cylinders, so that our families don't have to face the inconvenience of waiting for the refill when the cylinder is over. When everyone does the same, an artificial scarcity is created.There may be enough number of filled cylinders in the households, but, since most of the people have two or more cylinders in their homes, they are not available in the market.
